Just ask the hardcore band I Set My Friends On Fire, who discuss the importance of good, clean nookie with their hard rocking tune Safe Sex Rocks.
Frontman Matt Mehama says their loud, dirty deed ditty has all the elements of a screamo song because, Its really intense and sounds heavy but the lyrics are really cheesy.
With lines like: There comes a time in every mans life/ When he grows hair where it used to be bare, the rockers are hoping to teach kids that sex is a good thing, so long as you use protection.
Mehama says, I remember those middle school videos about safe sex. They were so lame. Kids might think our song and video are cool.
Not only can fornicators learn the ins and outs of safe sex with the tune.
Mehama says that it can help get you in the mood, but only if you like loud, screaming voices.
