No ‘Man Bashing’ Allowed On ‘Lipstick Jungle’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – According to Brooke Shields, “man bashing” isn’t allowed on the set of Lipstick Jungle.

The sexy star says the girl power series – which has been airing Fridays on NBC but was recently canceled – has a strict policy against hating on men, and producers make it a point to depict male characters positively.

She explains, “We celebrate men and how much we need them. They’re not shown as weak, pathetic guys. There’s no male bashing.”

Because of that, Shields believes guys can enjoy watching Lipstick Jungle just as much as women, and producer Oliver Goldstick agrees.

He says, “The real women in men’s lives are reflected in the characters on this show. They relate to them because they feel like they know them. It’s a guilty pleasure for guys!”

Shields says the men in her life – including her hubby – have learned to love the series, whether they like it or not.

She says, “They have no choice! If they love me, they love Lipstick Jungle!
