Dogs To Become ‘X-Games’ Contenders?

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Old dogs can be taught new tricks – extreme tricks.

Omar Muller trains pooches at the Miami Off-Leash Dog Training Academy and can make Fido do more than just sit and roll over.

Muller trains talented pups to do extreme activities, like skateboard, water ski, ride a bicycle and even a scooter.

His star doggy, a Jack Russell terrier named Pete, can do awesome tricks on a skateboard, like ollie off huge ramps and kneel while riding, and has garnered fame on the Internet.

Muller says that almost any canine can learn to be an extreme athlete, and explains, “You have to set a goal, but know it’s going to take at least a year.”

Doggies also need a lot of treats and love while they’re learning, so they’re having fun.

Muller says, “You don’t want the dog to get discouraged. He has to enjoy it so in the end he’s happy and wagging his tail while doing these tricks.”
