At least thats according to dancer Sophie Naugahyde, who shimmies with the San Diego-based burlesque group, Sultry Savage.
Naugahyde discovered that other-worldly beings get a boner for burlesque when the ghost of Johnny Cash appeared to her at a Comfort Inn in Yuma, Arizona.
She explains, I was awakened at 3 AM by a flickering light. When I opened my eyes, I saw a figure standing at the foot of my bed, dressed in all black.
The Man in Black then held a dollar bill out to the titillating dancer, but out of fear, she began to shout and curse at the ghost, scaring it away.
Naugahyde says, The next morning, I turned on the radio and I heard the Johnny Cash song, Another Man Done Gone. Coincidence? I think not. Thats when I knew it was Johnny Cash who came to me.
