Washed Up MMA Vet Vows To Punch Rookie’s Lights Out

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Legendary MMA fighter Ken Shamrock is betting on beating the crap out of one rookie in the ring.

On Saturday (Oct. 4), Shamrock – who’s lost his past eight MMA fights – will fight rising rookie Kimbo Slice – who’s 10 years his junior – as the main card event during CBS EliteXC Saturday Night Fights on CBS.

Though some believe Shamrock is washed up and out of luck, he insists he’s going “punch Kimbo’s lights out” even though the newbie is “big, strong, and fast.”

Shamrock growls, “I’m going to get in there and do what I do, which is beat people up. I’m gonna f him up! I’ll bet my house I’m gonna win. After I win, I’m gonna shave Kimbo’s goatee to celebrate.”

However, Slice doesn’t think the vet has what it takes to keep up.

Says Slice: “I’m gonna break his face! Shamrock is a damn great fighter and it’s gonna be an honor when I beat him. If I beat Shamrock’s ass, I’m good!”
