Football Legends Keep It Simple On ‘Inside The NFL’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Three football legends are ready to go head-to-head this fall.

But this time, they’ll be sparring in the studio, not on the field.

Former NFL players Cris Collinsworth, Phil Simms, and NFL broadcaster James Brown will be the new trio of co- hosts for the 31st season of Inside The NFL, premiering Wednesday (Sep. 10) on Showtime.

That’s if they can understand what one another is trying to say.

Former Cincinnati Bengals player Cris Collinsworth says it may be difficult to keep up with Harvard alum James Brown’s impressive vocabulary skills.

He jokes, “James needs to stop using the big Harvard words around me and Phil [Simms]. We’re two guys who used to get hit in the head for years!”

Brown promises to use simpler terms around his gridiron co- hosts and believes the three of them will tackle many exciting football debates in the future – as long as Collinsworth and Simms bring their dictionaries.
