World’s Largest Martini Glass Creates A Buzz

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A cool, 10-foot- tall martini glass is shaking things up by breaking a world record.

Ketel One Vodka recently created the world’s largest martini glass made entirely out of ice in an effort to gain entry into the Guinness Book of World Records.

The martini glass made its debut in Rotterdam, Netherlands, this past July and took three and a half tons of ice to make.

It held the equivalent of 1,000 cocktails, which created a real buzz among spectators.

A giant cocktail known as the MonRo – which means “My Rotterdam” in Dutch – was chilled and served from the glass to spectators to celebrate the creativity and go- for-it attitude of the region.

The MonRo cocktail is made by mixing Ketel One Vodka, DeKuyper Kwai Feh Liqueur, Lychee Juice, and Rose syrup, shaking it with ice, and serving it straight up with a rose petal garnish.

Ketel One’s massive martini glass is expected to appear in the Guinness Book of World Records in the coming months.
