‘Phat’ Kids Get Fit With Hip-Hop

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Busting a move to a hip-hop groove can help chubby kids shed that baby fat.

Hip-hop artist and dancer Roger G – who’s pop-locked on the stage with Michael Jackson, Jay-Z, and in tons of movies and music videos – is getting plump tykes toned with his dance DVD, Hip Hop for Kids: School House Hop!

Roger G teaches tots moves like the “Walk it Out,” which is an urban take on “The Twist,” and Soulja Boy’s dance, and hopes to inspire kiddies to worry more about their belly than their bling.

He says, “Kids look up to rappers, but those guys walk around all chubby, smoking joints and drinking 40s with their bling on. With the video, kids will look up to me more because I stay in shape.”

The “urban entertainer,” as he calls himself, says hip-hop is the perfect way to get fatties to eat right and exercise because, “Kids follow hip-hop like Christians follow the bible.”

School House Hop hits shelves tomorrow (Jul. 15).
