Former Con Artist Is ‘The King Of Sting’

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One former thief used a badge to make bank.

Former con artist Craig Glazer is spilling his guts about his life of crime in his book The King of Sting: The Amazing True Story of a Modern American Outlaw (Skyhorse Publishing), and recalls the years when he posed as a police officer to steal thousands of dollars from mafiosos.

After ripping off the Mexican mafia, an 18-year-old Glazer began orchestrating elaborate fake stings to steal from drug kingpins.

He says, “I looked like David Cassidy, but I emulated Jesse James and Wyatt Earp. I was living the outlaw movies that I grew up loving.”

Despite all the money he made thieving, Glazer won’t be getting back into conning, though sometimes it’s very enticing.

Glazer says, “The adrenaline rush I’d get when I was doing it can’t be surpassed by anything else. I always yearn for it, but I’ll never do it again.”
