Pet-Sitters Required To Cuddle

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One time, at pet camp, dogs, cats, and other critters got lots and lots of lovin’.

Paws ’N’ Play Pet Camp hooks up pets owners with trust-worthy babysitters for their kitties, canines, and other pets.

According to camp founder Pam Mathison, kennels and pet hotels often keep pets caged all day without giving them the love and attention they’re used to, and pets suffer for it.

She explains, “Pets get very traumatized. They don’t know what happened to their parents so they won’t eat and get depressed.”

Mathison offers pet parents the chance to leave their critters with warm, loving families who are required to not only feed and walk pets, but also give them lots of hugs and kisses.

They even get a background check to ensure a pet’s safe keeping.

Mathison says, “Host families treat the pets as if they were their own. It’s like going to their grandparents’ house for some puppy lovin’. If you let them sleep on the bed, the host families have to too.”
