Eliminated ‘Nashville Star’ Trio Upset With Rude Judges

LAS VEGAS (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Nashville Star rejects Third Town are wondering where the Southern hospitality was on the show.

Third Town – a country crooning trio comprised of Jeff Fairchild, Tony M., and “Little Tony” – were kicked off Nashville Star this past Monday (Jun. 16), after some scathing reviews from judges Jewel, Jeffrey Steele, and John Rich.

Jewel told the Las Vegas-based trio that they resembled “Japanese karaoke singers,” while country music mogul John Rich criticized them for not having a lead singer.

Fairchild says, “We’re all lead singers. That’s just the way it is. I wanna ask John Rich who the lead singer of [his country duo] Big & Rich is!”

Tony M. believes the judges’ reviews were harsh and wishes they had shown more respect for contestants.

He says, “It’s rude to make faces and make fun of us after we perform. From artists to artists, they should’ve had mutual respect for us.”

Third Town plans to keep on truckin’ in Sin City and record their album very soon.

Nashville Star airs Mondays on NBC.
