Wear A Piece Of Huxtable History

THREE RIVERS, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Soon, die-hard Cosby Show fans will get to wear warm and fuzzy memories of the sitcom close to their hearts.

Starting Monday (Jun. 2) through June 15, the Hello Friend/Ennis William Cosby Foundation is putting three sweaters actually worn by Bill Cosby on The Cosby Show up for auction on eBay, just in time for Father’s Day (Jun. 15).

The bidding will start at $5,000 for each of the three multi- colored, crazy-patterned crew-necks, and will include a certificate of authenticity and a tape of the episode in which Cliff Huxtable wore the sweater.

Joel Brokaw, Executive President of the Hello Friend foundation, says, “Cosby sweaters are part of pop culture. This is a chance to take home a bit of television history.”

But if you want to kick back in the sitcom sweater, that’s fine too.

Brokaw says, “I see it being put in a frame rather than worn around the house. But if someone wants to wear it, that’s their choice.”
