In the new Sci-Fi channel documentary Children of the Grave, a team of ghost hunters from the Paranormal Task Force (PTF) search for the spirits of dead children in haunted, scary sites.
Greg Myers president of the PTF says children often come back to haunt locations because they were abused and lonely during their life.
He explains, Many times children were mere property and used for labor duties and darker things. They suffered tragic deaths and may have lacked the guidance to fully pass through the white light.
Myers says kiddie ghosts are often playful and mischievous, and will interact with investigators more openly than adult entities, which can scare people whove seen too many kiddie ghost horror flicks like The Ring.
Myers says, The media makes spirit children look evil. A child ghost can be dangerous, though, in varying degrees.
Children of the Grave airs May 7 on the Sci-Fi channel.
