‘Quarterlife’ Creator Hones His Web Surfing Skills

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Hollywood producer Marshall Herskovitz’s latest project is allowing him to hone his web surfing skills.

Herskovitz – the creative mastermind behind shows and movies like My So-Called Life, Legends Of The Fall, and Blood Diamond – is currently producing Quarterlife, an Internet series-turned-TV show based on a girl who blogs about her personal experiences and friends’ secrets.

The show also has an accompanying social networking website,, where viewers themselves can blog.

Since producing the Internet-centered project, Herskovitz says he’s become a bit of an Internet addict.

He explains, “I’m addicted to my own site []! I check it 10 to 15 times a day, and I love reading some of our viewers’ blogs. People get very creative.”

Quarterlife star Bitsie Tulloch has seen Herskovitz’s online obsession firsthand and says he’s on his web page so much, fans of the show are starting to notice.

Tulloch explains, “I read a forum the other day where a fan commented, ‘Marshall takes to the Internet like someone’s 10-year-old sister.’ I couldn’t stop laughing because it’s true!”

Quarterlife premieres tomorrow (Feb. 26) on NBC.
