Keep Your Workplace Romance On The Down Low

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – This Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14), keep your workplace romance a sexy secret.

Barbara Pachter is a business etiquette expert who says if you happen to be dating a co-worker on Valentine’s Day, the smart, safe choice is not to flaunt your fling around the office.

Pachter says, “You shouldn’t let it all hang out on Valentine’s Day. Use the same discretion you do the rest of the year. Go out after work. You don’t need to be kissing in the meeting room.”

Because people spend so much time at work, Pachter says people find it easy to date a co-worker, but it can also be dangerous.

She says, “If it doesn’t end well, everybody knows everything.”

And the workplace worries are worse if you’re secretly seeing your superior.

Pachter says, “You don’t want to date your boss. Other co-workers will think you’re getting favored. It’s awkward for everybody.”
