‘Crowned’ Winners Reap What They ‘Sew’

LAS VEGAS (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The mother-daughter winners of Crowned finally got to reap what they’ve been “sewing” for years.

Moya and Jenileigh Sawatzke were declared the winning beauty queens of Crowned: The Mother Of All Pageants this past Wednesday (Jan. 30), and their many years of dedication to the pageant world helped them win the reality TV crown.

Daughter Jenileigh has been competing in pageants since she was nine years old, and says her years of experience on the pageant stage helped her mentally prepare for the various challenges on Crowned.

And although mom Moya had no previous personal pageant experience, she’s been “coaching” Jenileigh in pageants for 16 years, sewing every single one of her daughter’s pageant costumes along the way.

Moya says, “I’ve designed and sewn hundreds of costumes for Jenileigh. It’s always been very fun for me!”

And while Moya is the behind-the-scenes pageant talent, Jenileigh wouldn’t mind incorporating more of her mom’s skills into her on-stage talent routines.

She explains, “I’d love to perform a routine where my mom sits on stage with a sewing machine and makes costumes while I dance and change into all the different outfits she makes. That’d be fun!”
