For 14 years, Canine Freestyle Federation has taught doggies and their handlers to dance in sync for competitions, and owner Joan Tennille, whos boogied with more than 200 pooches, says its the owners, not the dogs, who have a hard time getting down.
She says, How long it takes to learn depends on the dog, but Ive never had a dog not into this. Its only the human that wont like it and will give it up. Theres no end to what a dog can do.
But there is one routine that gets dancing doggies barking mad.
Tennille says, You cant teach a dog to polka or to skip. Its very difficult for them. You might be able to get a three-legged dog to skip, but Ive never tried it.
