Pizza Hut Takes A Televised Bite Out Of The White House

CINCINNATI (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A worldwide pizza giant is hitting the campaign trail by giving presidential hopefuls a slice of the spotlight.

This past Sunday (Dec. 30), Pizza Hut launched its Pizza Mia value product, a delicious deal which offers three pizzas for the penny-saving price of $5.

But the real value comes for the presidential candidates, who are currently vying for the vote in today’s (Jan. 3) Iowa caucus.

The commercial features small slices of each Republican and Democratic candidate addressing their concerns about the economy, with their answers spliced together to promote the pizza pie, and a tagline that says, “It’s your choice. Please vote.”

And whether you support Barack Obama, Mike Huckabee, or Rudy Giuliani, Pizza Hut’s dough-saving campaign commercial is anything but cheesy, and should have you fired up about next year’s election.

The saucy TV spot hopes to not only promote the penny-pinching perk of their new pizza, but to remind Americans to get up from the table and vote.
