‘Survivor’ Cast-Off Ready To Hit The Road Again

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A grueling Chinese competition struck a chord with one reality show reject.

Erik Huffman was sent packing on Survivor: China last Thursday (Dec. 6), but for Huffman, a model and musician, coming back to America hasn’t been as difficult as he expected.

Huffman says, “China was absolutely horrendous – it was either super hot and humid or raining, and we were always starving. I lost 30 pounds. But somehow I’ve just filled right back up and I’m back to normal. I was convinced I was never going to take food or shelter for granted again, but as an American citizen, I’m pretty privileged, and it’s easy to get used to it.”

But Huffman won’t be relaxing too long – early next year he plans to hit the road with his rock band, Florez, and he’s confident his torturous televised trials will play a part in his master music plan.

He says. “I’ll still complain on a 12-hour van drive, but I’ll know I can actually survive!”

Survivor: China airs Thursdays on CBS.
