‘Tis The Season For Sinatra

WINDSOR, Colo. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One playwright has Frank Sinatra under his skin, and he’s showing it with a musical holiday tribute.

David Grapes has taken his love for Old Blue Eyes to the stage with his play Christmas My Way, a Vegas-style musical that features Sinatra tunes and Christmas classics revamped in the swingin’ crooner’s style.

Grapes says, “It’s like if Dean [Martin] and Frank got together to celebrate Christmas. We’re celebrating the season the way Sinatra would celebrate – with music, entertainment, and banter that the Rat Pack was known for.”

And Grapes assures that there won’t be any Sinatra imitators doing a lame version of “The Lady is a Tramp” because, in his words, “Not many can have a 60-year career, or pretend to be someone who has.”

But Grape welcomes anyone to give their own tribute to the Chairman of the Board by dressing up in sleek, Rat Pack- style tuxedos.

Christmas My Way is swinging up the stage now through December 16 at the Theatre Winter Haven in Winter Haven, Florida.
