Singing About ‘A Woman Thang’ Ain’t An Easy Thang

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Being a woman isn’t as easy as it used to be.

At least that’s the case for Allee Willis and Holly Palmer, the singers of Bubbles and Cheesecake, a Los Angeles- based singing duo that recently released their single “It’s A Woman Thang,” on, which is stirring up all kinds of controversy.

The saucy singers’ song talks about the need for women to have more self expression, but not everyone’s groovin’ to the message.

Palmer says she was completely shocked to have death threats sent to her, especially because she doesn’t understand why the song is stirring up so much scandal.

She explains, “We wanted the song to be fun, not stir up a gender war!”

Willis agrees, but is excited about being able to reach a new audience, saying, “We’ve opened a dialogue about prejudice, so now we have a mission!”
