Cuddling Keeps You Slim And Trim

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Cuddling can help you shed the extra pounds you gain this holiday season.

That’s the skinny from Marcia Baczynski, co-creator of Cuddle Party, a social event where people connect through the magic of cuddling, and hug out their fat in the process.

She says, “There’s no science to back this up, but we’ve noticed that since we started having certified cuddling parties, we would lose 10 to 15 pounds.”

According to Baczynski, weight gain is often attributed to stress, and the hormone cortisol, which is produced by stress, is known to cause belly bulge.

But when “sustained contact” is made through cuddling, the body releases a hormone that relieves stress, keeping cortisol at bay.

Baczynski says, “There are a lot of health benefits, and people say they come out feeling like they’ve been at a spa for the weekend. It’s a general well-being from being touched in a non-sexual way.”
