Squeezable Foods Allow For Leftover Fun

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Parents, now you can squeeze Thanksgiving leftovers into your kids’ appetites.

Thanks to Malcolm Kushner – author of California Squisine: Healthy Food That’s Fast, Fun, And Squeezable For Kids (Reed) – Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 22) leftovers like cranberries, pumpkin, and even veggies, can be used to make meals and snacks that are squishy, squeezable and scrumptious for kids.

Kushner claims feeding the kids the ‘squisine’ isn’t just an alternative to greasy junk food, but will also be a good way to keep them out of your holiday hair.

He explains, “If you want to keep your kids out of your hair while you wait for Thanksgiving dinner, give them some crackers and the squeezable spread so they can have a Thanksgiving art contest, then eat up the art after.”

California Squisine is on bookshelves now.
