The Breast Is Best On Thanksgiving

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – This Thanksgiving (Nov. 22), men aren’t the only ones in love with breasts – turkey breasts, that is.

That’s according to a survey conducted by Wal-Mart, which outlines Americans’ Turkey Day tasting tendencies, and it turns out that 42 percent of women actually prefer the juicy breast meat of the bird, compared to only 35 percent of men.

Other gobbling stats include...

  • 74 percent of people still eat a Thanksgiving bird, but the turkey tide may be turning, as 24 percent of Americans under 35 are opting for a turkey free feast, instead choosing to ham it up with a holiday ham.

  • The way to a man’s heart isn’t food, but football, with 13 percent of fellas looking forward to the game over the gobbler.

  • Good health topped 25 percent of people’s wishbone wish list this holiday, followed closely by more money, and peace.

And finally, 68 percent of Americans have a spare chair at their Thanksgiving table for a celebrity, with President George W. Bush ranking as the preferred dinner guest, just above Tiger Woods, Elvis, and Mother Teresa.
