‘Survivor’ Cast Off’s Strength Doesn’t Save Him

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A lifetime of outdoor experience didn’t prepare one reality show reject for the games of the inner-mind.

Aaron Reisberger was voted off Survivor: China this past Thursday (Oct. 18), and all his intense physical preparation couldn’t save him from getting shipped back to the States.

He says, “I’ve played sports all my life. I grew up in the country, I’ve built fires before, I’ve camped out and worked with machetes. It was the mental game I wasn’t familiar with. If it was always physical the little people would never win!”

The survival show wasn’t strictly strenuous work however, and Reisberger says, “It’s grueling, but there is down time. Once you get food, water, and shelter, you can kind of relax, thank God.

And while he was pitted against the other players, Reisberger managed to make it back to the mainland with a friend – at least he hopes so.

He says, “James and I are good friends, and I’m sure we’ll stay friends. But I voted for him to get kicked off, so we’ll find out in December!”

Survivor: China airs Thursdays on CBS.
