Hotel Ghost Is A Hard Catch

CORONADO, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A hotel ghost in Coronado, California, is giving the cold shoulder to persistent spirit seekers.

Guests at the haunted Hotel del Coronado in Coronado, California, have been trying to make contact with their patron spirit, Kate Morgan, a young woman who committed suicide in the hotel in 1892 after being jilted by her lover, but she’s no easy catch.

According to the hotel’s heritage director, Christine Donovan, even though the room where Kate Morgan stayed during her visit is the most requested room, it doesn’t guarantee Kate will be your ghoulish guest.

Says Donovan: “Kate is elusive, and doesn’t like to be chased down.”

Despite giving persistent folks the cold shoulder, Kate roams the hotel causing mischief, like pulling blankets off sleeping guests and throwing objects off shelves in the gift shop.

And her troublemaking ways may be what lead to her death.

Says Donovan: “She liked to stir up drama, so we think she could’ve easily gotten herself into trouble and might have been murdered. There’s still some mystery surrounding her death, and she wants it to be found out.”
