‘Survivor’ Reject Has The Muscle, Not The Manipulation

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One reality show reject found out the hard way that manipulation can mean more than muscle.

Dave Cruser was the latest Survivor: China contestant to be shipped back to the States this past Thursday (Oct. 11), and Cruser speaks strongly when it comes to the tough tasks he did for his tribe.

He says, “I did all the work! But I’m not shocked – they defined and proved themselves by what they couldn’t do. They’re lucky they had me around.”

Cruser, a construction worker from Los Angeles, says he didn’t have to prepare physically for the Chinese challenge, but he did try bulking up his brain to become a master manipulator.

He says, “I read a book called How to Change Anybody (St. Martins Press), but I obviously didn’t read the whole thing!”

And while Cruser’s crusade through China showed him as a tough tribal taskmaster, there was some Survivor silliness that the cameras didn’t catch.

He says, “They didn’t show me laughing or having any fun. I’m not just a slavedriver – that’s only part of me.”

Survivor: China airs Thursdays on CBS.
