Halloween Is Business As Usual For One Haunted House

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Halloween is just another devilish day of the week for one hair-raising haunted house.

The Whaley House is a historically haunted hot spot in San Diego, California, but when Halloween comes around, it’s – boo! – business as usual.

Spokesperson Dean Glass says, “The ghosts here are real, we don’t rig anything.”

Glass says typical terrifying tales include people hearing footsteps and strange noises, and even seeing chandeliers swinging by themselves, but on fright night, the ghosts and ghouls aren’t guaranteed.

On October 31, The Whaley House will be offering haunted tours from 5:00 PM to midnight, but according to Glass, “The house is pretty active all year round. People think ghosts hide from groups, but sometimes that brings them out.”

And while children are traditionally terrified by haunted Halloween happenings, it’s the adults that get seriously spooked.

He says, “Some adults get creeped out. I remember coming here in fourth grade and falling in love with it. Elementary school kids get a kick out of it.”
