Don’t Let Farting Foul Up Your Fitness Fast Track

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – With the holidays fast approaching, one gas guru has some advice to keep your pre- holiday weight-loss workouts from blowing up in your face.

Dr. Patricia Raymond is a gastroenterologist who says that your regular running foods, like bananas and energy bars, may provide some unwanted farting fuel.

Dr. Raymond says, “While these carb-filled foods are great for fast energy, they can produce a whole lot of gas. You’re no longer a sleek, aerodynamic shape if you’re full of gas.”

And unless you’re ready to jog down misery mile, you may also want to dodge delicious dairy delights.

Dr. Raymond says, “You don’t want a milkshake for breakfast. That would be a disaster and a half.”

And to keep your running regimen fart free, Dr. Raymond says you should definitely steer clear from last night’s bean bonanza.

Dr. Raymond says, “This is not the time to finish up the chili from the night before.”
