The Emmys Are The Super Bowl For Women

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Guys, it may be football season, but women are getting their version of the Super Bowl a few months early.

At least that’s according to a survey by Little Black Dress Wines – the official wine of award season – that says 39 percent of women equate watching the red carpet coverage before and after a big award show like The 59th Annual Emmys this Sunday (Sept. 16), to their own version of watching the Super Bowl.

After the celebrity-filled main events, 44 percent of women love nothing more than gossiping with gal pals about the red carpet’s best and worst dressed stars.

And with so many glam girls at awards shows, it’s no wonder that red carpet fashion etiquette rubs off on women, and that 66 percent of ladies say they own at least one little black dress, and 82 percent feel it’s the classic, essential piece to any woman’s wardrobe.

So to kick off award season, Little Black Dress Wines is hosting a special auction of little black dresses donated by starlets like Teri Hatcher, Nicolette Sheridan, Carmen Electra, and Jane Seymour.

The celeb dress auction will support The Clothes Off Our Back Foundation.
