The Rat Pack Rolls Into Legoland

CARLSBAD, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The Rat Pack is making a comeback this weekend (Aug. 10-12), and they’ll be hitting Vegas – Lego style.

Starting tomorrow (Aug. 10), Legoland Park in Carlsbad, California, will feel more like Sin City, as Madame Tussauds wax figures of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. make an appearance at the park’s Miniland Las Vegas attraction.

Folks will be able to see and touch the life-size Rat Packers all weekend long, and event spokesperson Julie Estrada says with the music and visuals, it’ll feel like you’re in Vegas with the boys.

Estrada explains, “It may be built from Legos, but Miniland looks just like the Vegas strip. We’ll have cheesy lounge music along with live sounds from the strip playing all weekend, so it’ll really feel like Vegas!”

Visitors are encouraged to pose for pictures with Frank, Dean, and Sammy – something that both kids and parents can enjoy.

Estrada adds, “It’ll be nostalgic for the parents who grew up with the Rat Pack, and a chance for kids who don’t know much about the pop culture icons to learn about their coolness.”
