Thats according to a new study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, which proves that for men hitting the weights to build muscle mass, drinking milk is more effective than soy products or even sports drinks.
But get this milk may even help you recharge on the field.
The studys lead author, Dr. Stuart Phillips, says, It takes some getting used to, but most people found milk very refreshing.
However, Dr. Phillips says drinking your milk during exercise may not do a body good, because it can be difficult to digest.
But after the race, reaching for the cow juice may help you hit the court sooner.
Dr. Phillips says, Milk helps with recovery, restoration, and repair. It has the upper hand over sugar water.
