Animal Rights Activists Feel The Sting

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Animal activists may have to watch their own hides at this year’s national conference.

Animal Rights 2007 gallops into Los Angeles July 19th through July 23rd to tackle the hard-biting issues on animal activists’ agendas, like endangered whales and lab testing.

But conference chair Alex Hershaft says one high-profile guest may force the 800 attendees to watch their own hides.

John Feldmann, singer for punk rockers Goldfinger, is an outspoken proponent whose house has been raided by the FBI because of his aggressive activism.

According to Hershaft, “That’s how you know you’ve arrived.”

And while Hershaft hopes Feldmann’s FBI friends don’t follow him to the conference, he’s not going to bear-iccade himself if they do.

He says, “I hope they don’t show up, but I guess we’ll find out.”

Hershaft isn’t holding his breath either on Feldmann bringing his band along to rock the righteous crowd.

He says, “It would look a little cheesy if he performed.”
