Cosmic ‘War’ Breaks Out At Roswell Fest

ROSWELL, N.M. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A flying disk may have crashed the deserts of Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947, but now truthseekers are crashing the town to get some alien answers.

That’s because U.F.O. experts are spreading the weird word at the 2007 Roswell U.F.O. Festival Thursday (July 5), and studying extra-terrestrials while rocking out to the classic rock band, War.

But other-worldly organizer Guy Malone says he’s not worried about sending the wrong message to the alien race with the battle-sounding band’s name.

Malone muses, “They know we’re a War-ring race and that we’re not ready yet to join the peaceful galactic community.”

But the “high light” of the show may actually be a different kind of “Low Rider.”

This year, Malone says there will be a real close encounter of the expensive kind at the event for U.F.O. fanatics to enjoy.

As he puts it, “Keep your eyes to the east at dark in Roswell. I won’t say what it is, but it costs $9,000.”
