Actor Lil J kept his cool on the new Disney Channel movie Johnny Kapahala: Back On Board, but he says it was hard not to look like a dork while trying to master dirtboarding during rehearsals.
Dirtboarding is a new sport that has participants strap themselves onto a snowboard with wheels and go down a dirt hill.
Lil J says its as hard as it sounds, and he hurt his tailbone trying to show off in front of his castmates.
He explains: A couple of us guys went off to practice and the stunt guy aced it so I had to do it because I didnt want them to tease me.
Although Lil J tried to act like he knew what he was doing, he fell, hurt his backside and had to go to physical therapy.
Says Lil J: They were all looking at me like What do we do? The movie hadnt even started yet and we thought it might be over.
After that, he admits, he left most of the hard stunts to the pros.
Johnny Kapahala: Back On Board premieres this summer on the Disney Channel.
