Think Pink This Mother’s Day

VERO BEACH, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – It’s all about thinking pink this Mother’s Day (May 13).

That’s according to flower expert Brittany Streufert, who says pink tulips, daisies and roses are all the rage this year – but only for birth moms.

She says it’s important to avoid giving stepmoms the same bouquet as your real mom to avoid hurt feelings and suggests a bright, orange flower arrangement instead.

For grandmothers, Streufert says you can’t go wrong with a traditional white orchid or potted plant to show you care.

However, she says it’s best to avoid poinsettias and red roses on Mom’s special day because it makes it look like you have no idea what time of year it is.
