Celebrities Focus Spotlight On Their Favorite Photographers

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Celebrities are usually the ones who pose for photographers at red carpet events, but the tables will be turned on Thursday (Mar. 15).

That’s because the Celebrity Vault, a gallery specializing in high-end celebrity photos and paintings, is celebrating the opening of its Beverly Hills gallery by holding a soiree honoring the photographers whose works are in the gallery.

Celebrity Vault spokesman Klaus Moeller says that while famous folks like Val Kilmer, Carlos Santana and Raquel Welch will be on hand, the spotlight will be on artists like Malcolm Farley, who painted a portrait of the Police reunion during last month’s live Grammy telecast, or Danny Clinch, who is renowned for his backstage photos.

As such, Moeller plans to give cameras to the celebrity guests so that they can take their own red carpet photos of their favorite artists and photographers.

The event will also not make the photographers the focus of the show, Moeller says it will raise money for the Grammy Foundation and the MusiCares Foundation.
