Cops And Citizens Gunning For Each Other – All For Fun

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Most folks don’t want to see cops and private citizens gunning for each other on a weekly basis.

But that’s the premise of Front Sight Challenge, a new reality show on the Versus Network that pits law enforcement officials against private citizens in weekly firearms competitions.

Show host Dr. Ignatius Piazza says the cops are better at showing grace under fire, but the private citizens benefit from having cutting-edge classes in marksmanship. Plus, he points out, “they’re younger and in better shape.”

Contestants are bumped off each until one man or woman is the last one standing.

The competition is heated but Piazza says friendships are forming between the cops and citizens. In his words, “I’ve seen some of the officers tell citizens, ‘Hey, next time you’re in my town, let me take you on a drive-by.”’
