OK Go Bassist Dancing Around New Video

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The rock group OK Go has earned international fame for its highly choreographed videos for songs like “A Million Ways,” and “Here It Goes Again.”

Now the band is planning to film its new video for “Do What You Want” but bassist Tim Norwind is dancing around the issue of whether it will also feature elaborate dance moves.

As he puts it, “It will be in the spirit of the previous videos but it may not be what you’re used to.”

Norwind admits that the dance moves have become so associated with OK Go that fans expect them in concert. Still, he says the group only performs its routine for “A Million Ways” if the audience is well-behaved.

However, he says OK Go never does the choreography for “Here It Goes Again” because, frankly, “it’s not cost-effective to cart around eight treadmills on tour.”

OK Go films its new video this week and on February 26 will start a nationwide tour with Snow Patrol in Portland, Oregon.
