Only 18 Percent Of Singles Have A Date For New Year’s Eve

PALM DESERT, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – You’ll probably be hearing the song, “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?” a lot before December 31.

Especially from desperate single people.

According to the It’s Just Lunch dating service, only 18 percent of singles lined up a date for New Year’s Eve by December 1 and 34 percent won’t be looking until just after Christmas.

However, 14 percent of singles are so desperate for a December 31 date that they are willing to accept an invitation that arrives as late as 11 p.m., December 31.

If you do hook up with someone that night, your odds of getting a smooch on the first date are pretty good.

Forty percent of singles say the stroke of midnight is a perfect time for a first kiss but only 29 percent have been that lucky.
