Sci Fi Mini-Series More Like Comedy Show Off Camera

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Sci Fi films can be pretty spacey but for Peter Krause, his latest role was a real giggle fest.

The Six Feet Under star appears in a new miniseries, The Lost Room, playing a homicide detective who discovers a hotel room key that unlocks the door to a world of unimaginable power.

Although it’s played straight, Krause says he had a hard time keeping from laughing because of costars like comedians Kevin Pollack and Margaret Cho.

As he puts it, “It almost turned into Abbott and Costello. I was playing straight man to all these funny actors.”

He says Pollak, in particular, had him in stitches – to the point where he almost couldn’t finish some of their scenes.

The Lost Room airs December 11, 12 and 13 on the Sci Fi Channel.
