Paula Poundstone Hopes People Choose Her On Election Night (Nov. 7)

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Election news will be dominating the airwaves tomorrow (Nov. 7) but that doesn’t bother comedian Paula Poundstone.

Or does it?

Poundstone admits she thought it was “a little stupid” to schedule her first television special in ten years, Paula Poundstone: Look What The Cat Dragged In, on Election Day, but says she got over worrying about it and now thinks people will choose comedy over politics.

Says Poundstone: “I don’t think this year’s elections are as important as everyone is making them, so it’s my hope that people check out the elections for a little bit, then flip back over to me.”

The focus of her show isn’t politics but rather “whatever happens to me throughout the day” but she says she does like to throw a George W. Bush zinger here and there.

Paula Poundstone: Look What The Cat Dragged In premieres tomorrow (Nov. 7) on Bravo.
