Small Businesses Corn Hole Each Other

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – New York’s business community is tough enough but it’s even harder when a Corn Hole is involved.

That’s the case today (Oct. 17) in Battery Park where 50 small businesses will be competing in a Corn Hole competition in hopes of winning $10,000 and a new web page from Network Solutions.

For those not in the know, Corn Hole is a game where competitors toss bean bags into various holes in hopes of scoring points.

One of the folks judging the event is former baseball great Tommy John, who will be tossing out the first bean bag.

He says it’s fitting he is getting the honors since Corn Holers use an underhanded style that is similar to the way he pitched in the major leagues.

Although playing Corn Hole may not seem like a sound way for a business man or woman to spend their day, John says the game actually teaches skills that transfer to business.

As he puts it, “You have to adjust your strategy and keep your eye on the mark.”
