Filmmaker Hopes Robin Williams Has A Sense Of Humor About Rehab

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A filmmaker in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, wants to put the sauce in sobriety – and wants Robin Williams to come along for the ride. Filmmaker Eric Blake says he hopes Williams has found the humor in his recent stint in rehab.

That’s because Blake has created an idea for a TV show called Rehab and wants the funny man to make a cameo appearance.

Blake says he was inspired to pen the script for the sitcom after the recent string of celebrities like Mel Gibson and Kate Moss went into recovery.

And while he would love stars like Williams, or even Robert Downey Jr., to appear on the show – he would prefer alleged booze hounds Mark Foley and Gibson keep their distance.

Says Blake: “I don’t even want to be in the same state as Mel Gibson ... and Foley is just full of crap.”

No word yet if any networks are interested in Blake’s script.
