‘Amazing Race’ Rejects Planning Trip To Scene Of Their Elimination

WINDERMERE, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The Amazing Race is tougher than it looks on TV – especially because they don’t show the effects of 14-hour flights.

That’s the word from Arti and Vipul, who were kicked off the season premiere of the CBS reality show this past Sunday (Sept. 17).

Vipul, who is works in sales in Windermere, Florida, says he never expected the effects of jet lag and admits he was “lethargic and drained” during his brief time on the show.

He adds: “Arti was a lot more energetic and that’s good because, otherwise, I would’ve wanted to take a breather.”

The couple also admits that they wish they had done some things differently during their brief stint in Beijing such as finding a cab driver who spoke English.

Although the couple is no longer on the show, they’re happy with their memories of China.

But they plan to make more there as well. Arti and Vipul plan to visit the Beijing Olympics in 2008 and will revisit the spot where they were kicked off the show.
