World Cup Of Horse Soccer On Heels Of Sport’s Popularity

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Don’t look a popular new sport in the mouth – especially if it can teach your horse new tricks.

That’s the message from Renee Miller, horse trainer and organizer of the inaugural World Cup of Horse Soccer Clinic and Exhibition, set for June 24 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Miller says her trailblazing league in America’s heartland has spread to the rest of the country, with other teams competing with names like The Chuck Norris Roundhouse Kickers, The Cowballs and The Gelding Goaltenders.

Miller says interest in her DVD that helps train horses to play soccer and the unprecedented league has been “overwhelming.”

She says even David Letterman called from New York with a request: “They want us to come up to the show and train the NYPD mounted patrol to play horse soccer.”
