Deborah Gibson Happy To Be The ‘Sexuality’ Of New Show

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Deborah Gibson will always be known as a 1980s teen queen but now she’s also pleased to be known as “the sexuality” of her new show.

Gibson is currently appearing in Saint Heaven, a new stage musical that is running in Stamford, Connecticut, with aspirations towards Broadway.

The woman who sang “Shake Your Love” doesn’t have the leading role and admits: “Usually, I prefer to be onstage more than less.”

Still, she is enjoying her role as what her friend called “the play’s sexuality.”

Saint Heaven runs until June 11 and Gibson may follow the play to New York.

But that’s not the only project going on musically for her. She has just cowritten a new musical called The Flunky with actor Jimmy Van Patten that she figures will be a hit because “it’s like The Producers in that the comedy is just wrong.”
