Documentary Offers A More Hopeful Picture Of Bode Miller

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Bode Miller hasn’t been the toast of Torino thus far, but there is one guaranteed way you can see him at the top of his game on TV.

This Tuesday (Feb. 28), a new documentary series called The Alpine Chronicles will air on WORLDSPORT HD Network, and part of it will highlight Miller’s first World Cup win on U.S. soil in 2004 and his successes afterwards.

Executive Producer Mark DeAngelis says the series not only covers Miller’s championship run, he promises, “You do see Bode in ways that you wouldn’t otherwise.”

Asked if the show will include boozing or other shocking behavior, DeAngelis says no, adding, “This is not about making these guys look bad.”

He says the series is more about showing the struggles and triumphs of skiers like Ted Ligety and Miller, and “getting inside these guys’ heads.”

In his words, “These guys can kind of tell their own story.”
