‘Apprentice’ Winner Starts First Day On Job (Feb. 21)

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – It’s been a few months since Donald Trump hired Randal Pinkett to be The Apprentice, but he’s only starting the job today (Feb. 21).

This morning, Pinkett begins his first day working for Trump in Atlantic City, New Jersey, at the Trump Taj Mahal, where he will be overseeing the construction of a new retail and dining promenade.

Pinkett is excited about putting the skills he used on the show to work in real life but also is looking forward to learning more about “the fundamentals of construction.”

As he puts it, “I know about managing a project, but I intend and expect to learn more about construction from Trump.”

But the first part of the day won’t be putting on a hard hat, it will be getting a license that allows him to work in the New Jersey gaming industry.

It’s not easy to get, since it requires a formal background check, but he’s not worried since it can’t be as tough as the background check he went through in order to get on The Apprentice.
