That titillating travel tip comes courtesy of Brenda Elwell, author of a new book, The Single Parent Travel Handbook (Global Brenda Publishing).
She says that while some American singles may dread vacationing with the parents, it is looked upon differently in other cultures. In fact, its a selling point.
Elwell says when she and her son used to travel together, young ladies in places like Peru would ask her to introduce them to the young hunk because they figured a guy traveling with his mother must be respectable.
And while traveling with parents can result in more dates when youre abroad, it can also improve relationships with the family as well. Elwell says she used to let her kids hang out with local teens and says they came back realizing she wasnt as strict as other parents.
